CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

CANCELLATION POLICY

We, at My Laptop Spares, thank you for choosing us & for giving us an opportunity to serve you. We would never want to see you cancel your order. However, we understand that sometimes you may place an order by mistake or realise immediately after placing the order that these items are no longer needed or that another item is required. In these situations, the following will apply

  • Cancellation will be approved if the order is not processed/shipped
  • If the order is processed but not shipped, an administrative cost of 5% of the order value will be applicable
  • If the order is shipped, an administrative cost of 10% of the order value + Shipping charges (forward & return) will be applicable

Though we will hate and see very remote chances, in the following situations, the order from our side too gets cancelled with an intimation to the customer.

  • Fail to get the address confirmation in case of COD orders
  • SKU is going out of stock after the placement of the order

No charges will be reimbursed in such cases.

If a payment is made online and we refund the amount, a payment gateway charges upto 3% might have to be paid by the customer.

RETURN AND REPLACEMNET POLICY

We, at My Laptop Spares, take the quality very seriously that all the products shipped to our customers are brand new and thoroughly tested by our OEM suppliers. Still, in some unfortunate cases or due to some reasons which are out of our control, the situation of replacing the product may apply. In such unfortunate situations, a product may be replaced within 15 days of original receipt, subject to the following conditions: 

  • The product is not working as per the published specifications/features
  • Product is dead on arrival (DOA)
  • The difference between the delivered product & ordered product
  • Physically damaged product

Intimation regarding any of the above conditions needs to be given within 24 hours of receipt of the product. In case of a physically damaged product, the picture of the outer package and the product clearly showing the damage needs to be provided.

If information is not provided within 24 hours, the replacement request might not get approved.

In case of branded products, if the original packaging is opened, we will not be able to take the product back unless it falls under any of the above four conditions.

In case of replacement (only if it falls in any of the above four conditions), the original packaging, all tags, and manuals need to be preserved and sent along with the product to qualify for the replacement. The shipment of a replacement unit will only be initiated after receipt of the original product along with the original packaging, tags, manuals, etc. and checking & approval by the RMA dept. In case it is found that the product doesn’t have the stated reason for replacement, the same might not be approved.

Once received & in case the product is found OK, the refund will only be made after deducting the cost of return freight & 10% of the order value as the administration cost.

 

If a wrong product has been ordered by the customer (without consulting My Laptop Spares Team), we will not be responsible for exchanging the product or giving a refund. REFUND POLICY

After the approval of cancellation of the order (as per stated conditions above), the refund process will be initiated within 3 days of the approval. Considering the bank processing time, it might take 7-10 days to get a credit in your bank account.

Ideally, the refund will be made in the same account which was used to make the payment. In case of a COD order, the refund will be made to the customer’s bank account.
